HEMP GINGERBREAD

Jouluun herkulliset omatekoiset piparit hampputwistillä.

2 dl sokeria
1 ½ dl tummaa siirappia
¾ dl vettä
150 g margariinia
1 tl jauhettua kanelia
1 tl jauhettua inkivääriä
½ tl jauhettua neilikkaa
½ tl jauhettua pomeranssinkuorta
⅓ tl suolaa
2 tl ruokasoodaa
1 dl hemp protein
6 ½ dl vehnäjauhoja


Kiehauta kattilassa sokeri, siirappi ja vesi. Nosta kattila liedeltä ja lisää joukkoon margariini, mausteet ja suola. Anna seoksen jäähtyä. Sekoita keskenään toisessa astiassa hamppuproteiini, jauhot ja sooda. Sekoita jauhot siirappiseokseen. Pane taikina jääkaappiin yöksi. Kaulitse taikina ohueksi. Lisää leivinalustalle jauhoja, mikäli taikina tarttuu kiinni. Painele muotilla haluamiasi muotoisia pipareita. Paista pipareita leivinpaperilla vuoratulla uunipellillä 200 asteisessa uunissa noin 7 minuuttia.

CRÊPE

Arkeen annos makeutta. Lettutaikinan voi tehdä myös ilman sokeria suolaisten lisukkeiden kanssa tarjottavaksi.

5 dl Hemp milk
3 dl vehnäjauhoja
0.5 dl hemp protein
1 rkl perunajauhoa
1 rkl sokeria
0.25 tsp salt
½ dl vissyä


Valmista taikina. Anna turvota noin 30 min. Lisää vissy. Lämmitä paistinpannu sopivan kuumaksi, lisää nokare paistorasvaa pannulle. Paista kummaltakin puolelta.

VEGAN PIZZA

Multi-faceted, delicious pizza born out of pea flour dough onto which the self-made tomato puree, cashew-hemp spread and hemp pesto are added along with your other favorite toppings.
Yum.

PIZZA BASE
0.5 dl hemp protein
2 dl pea flour
2.5 dl water
1 tbsp rapeseed oil
0.5 tsp salt
0.5 tsp ground cumin

tomato puree
zucchini
shiitake mushrooms fried on a pan
cherry tomatoes
dried tomatos
red onion
cashew-hemp spread as cheese
hemp pesto

HEMP TOMATO PUREE

Tomato puree for pasta, noodles, for a base of tomato soup or on top of pizza dough.

3 tomatos or 250 g
1 garlic clove
1 onion
2 tbsl rapeseed oil
0.25 tsp salt
0.5 tsp paprika powder
a hint of black pepper
1 tbsp of fresh basil
1 tsp apple cider vinegar
2 tbsp hemp protein


Sauté onions in a kettle with oil. Add sliced tomatos (stems removed). Mix and let tomatoes soften. Remove kettle from hot stove and add seasonings. Mix with a hand mixer and let it cool down.

Spread #2

CASHEW-HEMP SPREAD

Multi-purpose spread on top of bread or pizza to boost up the taste.

2 dl cashew nuts
2 tbsp hemp protein
1 tbsp lemon juice (organic)
1 tbsp apple cider vinegar
0.5 tsp salt
1 dl Hemp milk


Soak cashew nuts for 4 hours or overnight to soften them for easier pureeing.
Add all ingredients to a bowl. Puree with a blender or hand mixer into a smooth mass. Serve i.e. on top of a freshly made pizza.

Variation: you can substitute hemp milk for an equal amount of water.

Spread #1

HEMP SPREAD

Easy and delicious spread for example on box lunch bread pieces.

2 dl roasted hemp seeds
1,5 dl water
0,75 dl hemp seed oil
0.5 tsp salt
2–3 garlic cloves


Add all ingredients to a bowl. Blend it with hand mixer or blender.

Enjoy as is on top of seed crisp bread, freshly-baked
bun or on a slice of rye bread.

Condiment #1

HEMP PESTO

Protein-rich condiment to add taste!

4 dl of fresh basil leaves (loose)
0,5 dl roasted hemp seeds
0,5 dl vegan parmesan cheese
3 tsp hemp seed oil
1 garlic clove


Shred the basil leaves. Grind hemp seeds separately with a blender, or hand mixer or mortar. Slice the parmesan cheese and chop the garlic. Mix all ingredients to a bowl and add oil. Mix with a hand mixer or blender into fine-grained mass.

If you wish to make the pesto smoother, add oil.

Serve i.e. on top of warm bread, pizza, pasta or noodles.

REDCURRANT DESSERT

A delighting union of sweetness and bitterness.

2 apples
1/2 dl redcurrant berries
1 tbsp hemp seed oil
1/2 dl Hemp milk
0,75 l oat yoghurt (original taste)
+ add on top germinated hemp seeds and redcurrant berries


Add apples, berries, hemp seed oil and hemp milk to a bowl. Blend.
Add youghurt to dessert bowls. Add the berry mixture as a top layer. Sprinkle hemp seeds on top according to your preference. You can also add redcurrant berries as decorative food.

Alter the recipe to Gluten-Free by replacing the oat yoghurt to i.e. soy yoghurt.
