WHAT PERSONAL DATA WE COLLECT AND WHY WE COLLECT IT

Comments

When visitors leave comments on the site we collect the data shown in the comments form, and also the visitor’s IP address and browser user agent string to help spam detection.

An anonymized string created from your email address (also called a hash) may be provided to the Gravatar service to see if you are using it. The Gravatar service privacy policy is available here: https://automattic.com/privacy/. After approval of your comment, your profile picture is visible to the public in the context of your comment. Gravatar plugin may be disabled by the client by using browser extensions such as Ghostery or uBlock origin.

Media

If you upload images to the website, you should avoid uploading images with embedded location data (EXIF GPS) included. Visitors to the website can download and extract any location data from images on the website.

Contact forms and newsletters

The possible contact form requires only an email address and a name. This information processing is only limited to the purpose of the contact.

Cookies

If you leave a comment on our site you may opt-in to saving your name, email address and website in cookies. These are for your convenience so that you do not have to fill in your details again when you leave another comment. These cookies will last for one year.

If you visit our login page, we will set a temporary cookie to determine if your browser accepts cookies. This cookie contains no personal data and is discarded when you close your browser.

When you log in, we will also set up several cookies to save your login information and your screen display choices. Login cookies last for two days, and screen options cookies last for a year. Analytics

The visitor counter only counts the visits from individual IP addresses and is used only as an overall visit data graph with no connection to personal data. We do not share personal data.

How long we retain your data

If you leave a comment, the comment and its metadata are retained indefinitely. This is so we can recognize and approve any follow-up comments automatically instead of holding them in a moderation queue.

For users that register on our website (if any), we also store the personal information they provide in their user profile. All users can see, edit, or delete their personal information at any time (except they cannot change their username). Website administrators can also see and edit that information.

What rights you have over your data

If you have an account on this site, or have left comments, you can request to receive an exported file of the personal data we hold about you, including any data you have provided to us. You can also request that we erase any personal data we hold about you. This does not include any data we are obliged to keep for administrative, legal, or security purposes.

Where we send your data

Visitor comments may be checked through an automated spam detection service. Our site does not include social media trackers other than Gravatar, so no personal data will be sent to other third parties.

Your contact information

By subscribing to our newsletter, you must provide a valid email and your name. This information will solely be used to batch-send email newsletters. For contact forms we strongly encourage you to refrain from posting sensitive personal data with your questions or orders since we cannot be held liable in case the information submitted may be captured by malware or other malicious software on your client machine. Your orders through email are treated in isolation from this web site and will be managed only in our data base of customer order data. This data is not sent to third parties regardless of its origin.

Should we notice any such data, we can remove it without notice unless it is essential for you and with a valid reason.

How we protect your data

We never ask for more information than is needed to provide the service of contacting and replying as well as ordering from the web site. The orders which are to be picked up from a location location such as REKO orders or pick-ups at our store require no address information.

What data breach procedures we have in place

We maintain a functioning data security certificate at all times and use minimal amount of third-party plugins to provide the service. If a third-party plugin proves a threat to data security we will immediately disable it and all of the functions it provides. If we notice highly sensitive information in our messages or databases, we will delete it without prior notification. The customer will always be notified when we suspect a data breach or if the data we obtain contains highly sensitive data. We cannot guarantee that all such data will be noticed but we will do our best to correct or erase such data.

What third parties we receive data from

Currently no third party data will be received for this service.

What automated decision making and/or profiling we do with user data

We do not automatically perform profiling on customer data. If a survey is published, the information is only used in statistical way and will not be reused after the summary of the survey is published. No re-identification to original survey data will be performed. If a survey is published, we are not held liable for the possible third party profiling. If such possibility exists, we will provide a notification of it in the beginning of the survey.
